What is an AI fashion model?
A photorealistic digital person — face, body, identity — generated by AI and used as the model in your fashion imagery. Indistinguishable from a human model in finished imagery. Does not exist physically. Does not age. Does not have scheduling conflicts.
How do you cast AI fashion models?
At onboarding we generate 10-20 model options based on your audience brief — ethnicity, age range, body type, hair, face structure, aesthetic. You pick one or more. We lock those identities in your brand registry and every future shoot uses them.
Can I request a specific look or reference?
Yes. Many clients send reference images of aesthetics they admire, or existing brand campaign faces they want to align to. We use those as creative anchors during casting — no direct copying of another person's identity, just directional inspiration.
How many AI models can I have?
As many as you want. Most brands lock a core roster of 4-8 models for volume work and add 2-4 more for campaign-specific casting. Enterprise clients sometimes run 12+ models across regional markets.
Can AI models be diverse?
Yes — diversity is one of the biggest unlocks of AI models. We can cast any ethnicity, body type, age range, or identity with no casting budget friction. Many of our clients use AI casting to widen representation beyond what their traditional casting budget would allow.
Are there commercial rights issues with AI models?
No, when sourced from a proper agency pipeline. AI Studio uses engines and training sets that support full commercial usage, and we indemnify retainer clients on commercial use. Worldwide perpetual rights on every image we ship.
Is this ethical?
It is a real question and we take it seriously. AI models do displace some human modelling work — the high-volume catalog segment in particular. They also expand access for brands that could not afford traditional model budgets, and enable representation that would otherwise be cost-prohibitive. Most ethically-mature brands in 2026 blend AI for volume and humans for hero work, which is what we recommend.
Should I disclose AI models in my imagery?
Disclosure norms are evolving in 2026. Some regions (EU notably) are moving toward mandatory disclosure. We recommend transparent disclosure in your content policy or about page. Our retainer clients get templates for disclosure language at onboarding.
